eManagement GSA 8(a) STARS Program

GSA 8(a) STARS (Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services) contract vehicle, formerly known as FAST 2 (Federal Acquisition Services for Technology), is a government- wide acquisition contract and replaces the original FAST contract that expired Oct. 31, 2004. The new contract, effective June 2004 includes a 3-year base with two, 2-year options for a total contract period of seven years.

Order Limitations

Orders may be awarded on a sole source basis up to $3 million. Orders exceeding $3 million must provide fair opportunity for competition among all contract holders within the respective functional area. Exceptions do apply; please see the 8(a) STARS Ordering Guide in the 8(a) STARS Document Library for additional details.
