How to Order
Government agencies have two options for ordering through
the 8(a) STARS GWAC.
Direct Order
Direct order allows Federal agencies to conduct their
own procurements through delegation of authority. Delegations
of authority can be obtained through the Small Business
GWAC Center.
To request a delegation, contact 8a@gsa.gov:
1) send request via an email account with a .gov or
.mil suffix; list the name(s) of the party(ies) for
whom the authority is being requested, and
2) send a copy of the warrant for each contracting
officer for whom authority is being requested.
The warrant(s) may be included with the email as a
scanned attachment or faxed.
GSA Federal Technology Service
(FTS)
Federal agencies placing an order through GSA FTS will
need to provide three documents:
1) Signed interagency Memorandum of Understanding or
Service Agreement,
2) Statement of Work (SOW), and
3) funding document which includes the FTS fee for
services.
